Kimberley Nixon

Founder and Managing Partner,
Open Venture Capital (OVC)

Kimberley is Founder and Managing Partner at Open Venture Capital (OVC), an early stage, consumer venture capital fund. The fund invests in health and wellness brands that have the ability to expand from product to platform via a unique product, marketing and/or community engagement approach. Open Venture Capital began as Open Venture Studio, and for several founders we continue to invest time and expertise to help build a clear value proposition and a path to scalability before investing capital.

Kimberley previously served as COO at Health House, an innovative fitness concept and wellness platform focused on delivering a uniquely designed connected rower, that allows an instructor to control settings, remotely. Kimberley led and executed against Health House’s product and content strategy, oversaw prototype development, built a licensing and franchise strategy for physical locations and managed investment pitch and fundraising efforts. During Covid, Kimberley built, launched and managed a subscription based streaming platform with subscription rates at 3X to forecast.
