FAQs
What is involved in hosting an event?
The individual, group, or organization hosting a GTW25 event is in charge of planning the event, finding a location (we can help if needed), promoting through their own channels, and running the event.
When should my event take place?
GTW25 will take place on September 2nd, 3rd, and 4th this year. You are welcomed to schedule your event anytime within these 3 days.
What if I don’t have a location?
You can submit and event even if you don’t have a location. The Glendale Economic Development Division will work with you to try to connect you with a space you can rent or use for an event. Earlier submissions have a higher likelihood of getting matched with an event location.
Why would I submit an event?
GTW commands the attention of thousands of attendees each year from across SoCal. Accepted events will be featured on the Glendale Tech Week website, get highlights during promotional campaigns, and be granted permission to use the GTW logo and official hashtags. It is a fast and easy way to get thousands of eyes on your brand.
Why are the date and time required?
We want to make sure that your event does not take place at the same time as a different event targeting the same audience. Events with no people aren’t fun for anyone involved. When events are submitted, we check to make sure there is no conflict with any similar existing events. If a time and topic overlap exists, we’ll let both parties know and work together to resolve it so that more people show up to both!
I’m so excited! Are you excited?
YES! WE ARE SO EXCITED!
SEE YOU THERE!
