Encore Law Group Presents: New Technologies and Regulations in Investor Raises – from Blockchain, Qualified Opportunity Zones to the SEC

  • Glendale Central Library 222 East Harvard Street Glendale, CA, 91205 (map)

Hosted by Ara Babaian, Encore Law Group LLP

Join Encore Law Group for a brown-bag lunch panel and networking event during Glendale Tech Week.  We will be discussing the impact of new technologies, such as blockchain, on conducting investor raises for your startup or emerging growth company.  We also will discuss the impact of new regulations, such as Rule 506(c) and Regulation Crowdfunding, how they have liberalized the rules for raising investor funds, and how these new rules interact with the new technologies in this space.

While the new technologies and regulations have made it easier to raise investor funds, they also have created new challenges.  Join this panel to see how the new fundraising landscape has changed and how you might benefit.  Should you stick to a traditional Reg D offering?  Or should you do a security token offering?  If so, what are the things you should know in this new blockchain world?  We will also discuss some topics in this area that are specifically relevant to high-tech and real estate founders.
